Audit Committee (1 vacancy)

The audit committee enhances the credibility of financial reporting, and the independence of external auditors, and increases the reliability of financial reporting. The primary purpose of the audit committee is to procure, liaise and oversee the work of the external auditor. The term in office is up to 2 years.

Accessibility Advisory Committee (1 vacancy)

The Accessibility Advisory Committee advises and assists Municipal Council in promoting and facilitating a barrier-free Municipality of Yarmouth for citizens of all abilities, including persons with disabilities. This aim shall be achieved through the review of municipal policies, programs, and services and the identification, removal, and prevention of barriers faced by persons with disabilities. The term in office is up to 4 years.
