Notice of Public Hearing: For Amendments to Municipal Planning Strategy 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Municipality of the District of Yarmouth intends to consider amendments to the Municipal Planning Strategy.

At a Regular Meeting held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, Council approved first reading of the Municipal Planning Strategy amendments as presented in the Wind Energy Public Participation Report Final in accordance with the Municipal Government Act.

In accordance with Section 206 of the Municipal Government Act Council of the Municipality of Yarmouth intends to hold a Public Hearing to consider amending the document.

Location: Rotary Centre, 107 Cemetery Road, Hebron, NS

The proposed document may be viewed pdf HERE or at the Municipal Building between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday up until the day of the public hearing. (excluding Holidays; copy fees apply)

Notice of Public Hearing: Development Agreement

In accordance with Section 230(2) of the Municipal Government Act, the Council of the Municipality of Yarmouth will be holding a Public Hearing on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Rotary Centre, located at 107 Cemetery Road in Hebron, NS. The purpose of the hearing is to consider approving a development agreement for the establishment of an indoor recreation facility with an accessory liquor licensed establishment on PID 90333964 and PID 90333972 (See sketch of site below) 

The proposed Development Agreement may be viewed by interested persons between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Mondays to Fridays, excluding holidays, at the Administration Building, 932 Highway 1 in Hebron, or may be obtained by contacting the Development Office at 902-742-9691 (copy fees apply).
