Notice of Public Hearing: Amendments to Land Use By-Law (LUB)
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT at a Regular Meeting held on Wednesday, March 25, Council approved first reading of the Land Use By-law amendments described in Appendices F and H of the Sign Regulation report to Planning Advisory Committee dated March 17, 2026.
In accordance with Section 206 of the Municipal Government Act Council of the Municipality of Yarmouth intends to hold a Public Hearing to consider amending the text of the Land Use By-law regarding Signs
Date: Wednesday, April 22, 2026
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Administration Building, 932 Highway 1, Hebron, NS
Members of the public are welcome to submit questions about the proposed amendment to Madelyn LeMay before 12 noon on Thursday, April 16, 2026, using one of the following methods:

Notice of Public Hearing: Amendments to Land Use By-Law (LUB)
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT at a Regular Meeting held on Wednesday, March 25, 2056, Council approved first reading of the Land Use By-law (LUB) amendments described in Appendix E of the March 17, 2026, report to Planning Advisory Committee regarding site plan agreements in the Lakeside Residential (LR) Zone, with the effective date of the LUB changed to January 25, 2024.
In accordance with Section 206 of the Municipal Government Act, Council of the Municipality of Yarmouth intends to hold a Public Hearing to consider amending the Land Use By-law to exempt certain developments from the Site Plan Agreement requirements.
