Our community is home to a regional hospital, the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, and two community health centres. The A.M. Clark Health Centre in Pubnico and the Harbour South Medical Clinic in Yarmouth are jointly owned by the Municipality of Yarmouth, the Municipality of Argyle, and the Town of Yarmouth.

The Harbour South Medical Clinic is located at 235 Main Street in Yarmouth. Harbour South Medical Clinic is a family practice seeing just their own patients. They are not a drop-in clinic.

Doctor Recruitment
The recruitment and retention of doctors and health care professionals is considered to be the most important issue for many of our citizens. Our residents expect to have access to physician services in our local area. Doctor recruitment and retention is also a large component in future growth for the area, as access to health care is a major factor in attracting new residents.
