Nova West Regional Business Park Phase II Tender Awarded
Yarmouth, Nova Scotia - April 29, 2025 -- The Municipality of the District of Yarmouth awarded a construction tender to Aberdeen Paving Ltd. for the $1.8 million contract to complete the road and services construction of seven new commercial lots at the Nova West Regional Business Park.
Construction is scheduled to begin in May 2025 and is expected to be completed over a 26-week period.
The scope of the project includes comprehensive site development work such as site preparation and grading, installation of water and sanitary sewer services, implementation of stormwater management systems, road construction, asphalt paving, and final landscaping. The project will be carried out in compliance with all municipal and environmental standards.

"It has taken several years to get to this stage and Council is excited to see the newly available lots developed."
Situated just minutes from downtown Yarmouth, the Nova West Regional Business Park is zoned for both commercial and industrial use, providing the flexibility to support a wide range of industries. Of the park’s 148 acres, 40 acres have already been developed, and a potential 93 acres are available for future expansion.
