Meeting agendas are generally available for viewing on the Friday before the meeting. Reports are made available two days (48 hours) before the meeting and are linked within the agenda at that time. Minutes are made available once approved by the Council. Meetings are streamed live on the Municipality of Yarmouth Facebook page.

These hearings give residents a chance to voice their views and offer feedback, which can influence the final decisions made by the governing body. They are held according to legal requirements set out by the Municipal Government Act

The purpose of the public participation meeting is to provide an opportunity for the public to comment, make suggestions, discuss and receive information with respect to the planning documents.
Members of the public may express their views, comments and suggestions verbally or in writing and all interested persons will be given the opportunity to have their views, comments and suggestions heard. Accessibility Act and Regulations shall be taken into consideration when planning public meetings to allow for full participation.
